We also have one night stand or friends with benefits in order to have sex without emotions attached. In the brave New World Huxley created a perfect world where people were happy and other emotions didn't exist.
In BNW Huxley started off chapter one in the hatchery, “after fertilization, the embryos travel on a conveyor belt…”. We learned that the embryos are created and then goes through different processes. In modern world some processes are the same. For Instance, experts work in a lab to study the genes of the parents to access the possible complications that might accrue. They then find the solution to create a perfect baby.
Today common drugs such marijuana is used on a normal basis for some individuals. In BNW Soma was used to solve almost any problem the a character might be facing. In the real world its possible to say that marijuana is equivalent to soma in modern day.
Lastly, In BNW sex was treated as a normal things where as it became meaning less. For instance in BNW "We had Elementary Sex for the first forty minutes," she answered. "But now it's switched over to Elementary Class Consciousness.” they made sex so normal they started teach young children.In modern day life we see more and more “one night stands and friends with benefit” as a normal thing. It is projected through movies, that now we have just adopted and accepted it.

This quarter our theme was ethic. Ethic deals with the debated of right or wrong. We were presented with different essays this quarter that deal with Ethics. This timed write fit in because is was based on Civil Disobedience. We had to defend our prospective on whether civil disobedience is right or wrong.
I was apart of the British Timeline group and my Job was to research the renaissance era.

Third quarter has finally ended and its time to reflect. This quarter our theme was “Ethics”, it was interesting, we learned about the Ethics of right and wrong with various activities. This quarter I reached my goal. My goal was to become a better writer, although I’m still continuing the process, I became a better writer throughout this quarter. I believe that I earned my grade because I tried my best to keep up with classwork and homework to maintain the best grade possible. The most meaningful assignment would have to be the debate because it was new, exciting and instructing. It made understanding the point of views form out classmates a learning process, which I must say was a success. I loved everything about this unit and would want to skip anything. I’n Forth quarter I’m excited to state practicing for the AP Exam. Fourth quarter I hope to continue on my focus on writing.
